These were the questions that started अलग Is Not Galat.
One question stayed with me.
Somewhere between growing up and figuring out how to belong, most of us become remarkably good at editing ourselves.
We learn which parts to show.
Which parts to soften.
Which parts to explain.
Which parts to hide.
Sometimes, we spend so much time trying not to be too much or not enough that we forget to ask a much simpler question:
What if there was nothing wrong with being different in the first place?
That question became अलग Is Not Galat, a 75-minute storytelling show about the parts of ourselves we've spent years trying to change, hide or explain.
Aditi Surana is a behavioural analyst, high performance leadership coach and artist. She has spent her life understanding things from the outside in.
Her work has always lived at the intersection of the precise and the deeply human. Thousands of deliberate lines on paper. Years of careful conversations with people doing extraordinary things and quietly carrying the weight of feeling different.
